 The Generics Alright so here's the deal. I'm a girl (last time I checked), I'm nineteen and I'm a DAMN proud canadian. I've been making websites for about six years, introduced to them by Andrea, and still loving it! I'm going to the University of Manitoba to persue a degree in Education, majoring in English and minoring in Japanese. I'm a writer, I'm working on all kinds of things - mostly poems! I don't spend much time on them anymore, but my writings can be found at November Rain. This is my second year at the University of Manitoba. The courses I'm taking this are British Literature, Romantic Literature, Medieval History, and Intermediate Japanese. It's really busy but I'm done school pretty early on most days. I love the freedom that comes with university, but being the joiner I am I've already bitten off more than I can chew by taking up swing dancing. Needless to say, I'm the new Vice-president of the swing club. Told you so! I graduated from Oak Park High School with Honours and french immersion kid (meaning I took all of my manditory courses, besides english, in french) in 2004. I was the worlds biggest band nerd. I had a lot of pride for my school! I co-chaired the recycling committee at my school with my friend Kyle and made it a kickass committee! We were dubbed "the rowdiest committee in the school". How many people can say that? I tried out for our school musical (Footloose) in hopes of getting a decent part. I can't really sing so I didn't get a singing role, but I did have a few lines as Betty Blast - the owner of a burger joint. Oh yea baby. Until recently, I worked at a retirement home (not a nursing home) called the Portsmouth. I was there nearly two years as a waitress. I really liked it there, but the shifts are only three hours at eight bucks an hour (but only one raise in two years). I think it was time to move onto something diffrent. I'm now working at a call center called IMI (Integrated Messaging Incorperating) placing orders for infomercials. My closest friends in the world are Robin, Dave, and Kyle. We have so much fun when we're together, and we really help each other out when we need it. I don't know what I would do without them! Robin is my boyfriend and we've been dating officially since October 1st, 2004. We dated on and off for two years starting in grade 11 too.
